Question: What's the longest friendship you've ever had with somebody?
Stefan's Answer: My mum. She's the foundation of everything and anything that is concrete in my life. She's taught me so much that’s just invaluable and from an early age we had a special connection. We still do.

Question: What’s the last domesticated thing you did?
Stefan's Answer: I tidied up my dressing room at the theatre tonight as I left in a hurricane the other night to get home!

Question: Do you have a favourite song?
Stefan's Answer: When the producer of this years panto; Chris Jordan rang me this year to talk about songs in the show I mentioned how much I’d like to sing 'Come What May' [Moulin Rouge] and it ended up being the track that Niamh (Snow White) and I fall in love to!

Question: You've played a few different characters in pantomime do you have a favourite role?
Stefan's Answer: It’s lovely playing the prince in Snow White. For my favourite character Dick Whittington was fun - there was a lot of room for manoeuvre with the character and I could make him cocky and likeable alongside the storyline.

Question: Are you still in contact with Kristina? =) Do you meet up when she’s over for the new series' of DOI?
Stefan's Answer: Yes we are in touch. It’s very hard to meet as when she's here she’s training so hard, plus this year I have been up to my waist in panto shows but I love her to bits - she’s a great girl and we went through a lot together.

Question: What kind of fan mail do you get?
Stefan's Answer: Mostly lovely mail. It's really great to hear peoples feedback after a show especially if the show holds a lot of meaning to you as an actor. I always try to respond. After one job it took me about 9 months to reply to one person but we got there in the end!

Question: What’s the strangest fan gift you have received?
Stefan's Answer: Cant think off hand. There's been a few interesting ones though. Not to mention the strange letters!

Question: Do you get nervous when you go on stage? And if so how do you overcome them?
Stefan's Answer: I don’t often get nervous. Never have although on first nights I get stressed about hitting the right marks and delivering the lines properly if the rehearsal period has been cut short or just under-rehearsed for some reason. That’s nerve-wracking as no-one wants to look like a monkey on stage (nothing against monkeys).

Question: I have a part in the school play, have you got any good tips for acting and remembering my lines?
Stefan's Answer: Yes! There’s lots of tips. You have to find which works best for you. For me I have to visualise the words as I learn them. really make sure you read between the lines so you know the ultimate aim of the scene and once the emotional intention is set the rest kind of usually starts to fall into place. its a process that’s so interesting when you get a group of people together to act as they all interpret script differently. That’s what makes acting so special for me.

Question:Did you pass your driving test first time round and what was your first car / bike?
Stefan's Answer: Yes I did pass it first time round and my first car was a battered up Golf Mark 2 that kept breaking down. In that first year I discovered that if I had saved the money spent on repairing it I could have actually found something quite reliable. My first bike however was a Yamaha Diversion 600 and I toured it round England with my father - we had a riot.

Question: What was your first job after leaving school?
Stefan's Answer: I worked as a barman. It was great fun but finished at 2am so I’d always turn up for college feeling like a zombie the next morning!

Question: What's your favourite season and why?
Stefan's Answer: Spring. It’s a new beginning. It signifies the end of winter and warm long days are coming. It's also the season to fall in love and love makes the world go round.

Question: Would you ever consider taking part in any other reality TV shows?
Stefan's Answer: Maybe. There's a whole lot of other stuff that I’d like to do first though. Like getting on with my career as an actor.

Question: What 3 items would you like on a desert island with you?
Stefan's Answer: Pictures of my family, my guitar, and a never ending supply of fish hooks!

Question: What was your favourite subjects at school and your worst?
Stefan's Answer: Loved anything arty and of course anything drama orientated. Hated anything mathematical. Loved science but had to face the facts I wasn’t going to be a Doctor. But I did try to have responsible career!!

Question: We know you play the guitar, but is there any other instruments you play?
Stefan's Answer: Yes I played the trumpet from the age of 7 and went semi-pro in a jazz band at the age of 13. We had a lot of fun and by the time I finished I was lead trumpet and got all the fab solo's (all the Glenn Miller, Gershwin etc).

A BIG thank you to Stefan for taking the time to answer our questions!!!
